The Sassenachs Ceilidh Band played this wonderful venue as part of a fundraising charity ball in Nov 23. Sarah and the team were communicative and well prepared in the build up before, and of course on the day. We were well informed and looked after, meaning a quality performance for the ultimate organisers and their guests.

This is a review of the events team and trying to get information - I called up this morning to get some info clarified and was promised a ring back. I then rang back to chase after a few hours, as I had no call back and my call was ignored three times. As soon as I used a different number to ring, it was picked up on the second ring.... Then hardly anything could be heard on the phone as the staff in the office seemed to be shouting down their respective phones so this poor woman could hardly be heard..she finally managed to get the information over to me - information that was totally different to any event correspondence sent out so that's gone well!! I'm sure the venue is beautiful but the organisation leading up to any event, seems to be shocking.

Really good conference venue with comfy seats and great food. Very easy to access on foot from Euston Station. Only negative was the temperature in the Wolfson Room on my visit today, it was really cold.

Visited Royal College of Physicians for the first time for a graduation ceremony. Very nice listed venue, with friendly staff every step of the way. Some teething issues as they open to in-person events gradually, but everything was conducted in a very covid-secure manner. Would love to come back next year when the Museum opens to explore it in greater detail.

The Royal College of Physicians is a stunning venue and is located very close to our place of work so we have used it several times now for large-scale conferences. The facilities are high spec with a great choice of conference rooms and theatres, but our desire to return is based in large part on the fantastic customer service provided to us by each and every person we’ve come across. Barbara was our main point of contact and communication with her has just been fantastic; she is always around when you need her on the day and she is so positive and upbeat. You can tell she really cares about ensuring everything is perfect for an event and nothing is too much trouble. Daria was our contact on the day itself and she ran our event with military precision – she was great at keeping us on schedule with her no-nonsense attitude and smiley demeanour! The ladies on the front desk were incredibly helpful in assisting our delegates find their way around, and both Darren and Francis stopped by to introduce themselves (it’s amazing they had time since they were non-stop). The food is very tasty as well and the gardens are just lovely in summer; our delegates were very grateful to be able to make the most of the benches and garden mats in the sweltering heat we’ve had recently. Martin had the catering running smoothly and efficiently. The lecture theatres are impressive and comfortable and are equipped with hi-tech equipment and manned by an expert team led by Lewis. All of our lectures are video recorded and then uploaded to a RCP-run website for the delegates to review after the course. I would happily recommend this venue for so many different events – they were even hosting a disco in one room apparently!

I went to the Careless motion: William Harvey’s experiment exhibition; and although I wasn’t fully mesmerised by it; I was very impressed by the building; it is a Grade I listed building and considered as a ‘building of national importance’; inside it is equally impressive, I particularly loved the Dorchester Library on the first floor and the central ‘floating’ staircase.

Disgraceful and disrespectful behaviour to families with young kids and babies. Totally unacceptable to travel there and face discrimination because of a mother with a newborn is not allowed to attend the ceremony as all the other participants. They told us that there is no space for the pram. Then, hearing about using a sling, they said that the baby can fall down of the balcony (! 6 weeks newborn sleeping in a sling on his mother that reassured she would go outside if baby starts crying). Since there is such stiff rules and they don’t see the human behind their events, they should be clear in advance by showing respect to the new fellows and their families.
